Man killed after getting out of taxi

The 53-year-old was struck by a car after he got out of a taxi at Bullstown, The Ward, at around 11.30pm last night.
His body has been removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where a post mortem will take place today.
The section of the road was closed and diversions were in place.
Gardaí in Ashbourne are investigating the incident.
